Daddy Night Camp

During a recent book club a few of the dads got together at our house to watch the kids. Let me just say a picture is worth a thousand words...

Stars and Stripes Forever

We celebrated July 4th in Driggs this year. We had a great time. We started the day with a home town parade (including really loud fire trucks that scared Harper to death). Finn loved waving his flag and catching the candy. We lit a few sparklers, which resulted in two burnt fingers. We barbecued and mountain biked in the rain. And when it was all said and done the kids slept right through the fireworks.

Seventh Heaven

Ms. Harper is seven months old and she really is a little slice of heaven. She is sweet, smiley and a ton of fun. This month she has really started to move. She rolls and scoots her way across the room, which has me nearly scared half to death. I was just starting to get a handle on having two kids and now having two that can move on their own is more than just a little frightening. Her major accomplishments this month are that she can feed herself a bottle, eat cereal puff and stand up holding on to things. She loves to lean as far forward in her car seat as she can and turn and watch her big brother. I can't believe how fast the time goes. It seems like just twenty months ago Finn was seven months old.
