Definitely a 10!

Some how the bear keeps getting smaller and smaller in these pictures. At ten month's Finn first official word(s) are "Ought Oh." He says it every time he drops something. It has now turned into a game. He drops something, says ought oh, we pick it up and then he drops it again. It was really cute the first 4000 times, but now it's getting a little old. He's also starting to scoot along the furniture and loves to walk around while your holding his hands.

RSV = Really Sucky Virus

Spending time at the hospital with your baby is not fun. Finn contracted RSV and because of his Asthma he ended up in the hospital for four days. He was a little trooper, but it almost broke our hearts to see him so sick. Fortunately, he's doing much better now and we have new treatments to help control his Asthma better so that hopefully we won't have to spend any more time at the hospital.

Nine and Fine

It's unbelievable that Finn is already nine months. It seems like just yesterday that we were putting together his crib and now we are lowering the mattress so that he won't climb out. Just in time for his nine month birthday (and Christmas), his two front teeth arrived. At his nine month check up he weighed 19.5 lbs and is 28 inches long. He is soldier crawling all over the place and will pull himself to standing every chance he gets. He says Mama and Dada and something that sounds like dog every time he sees Max.

Old Dog New Trick

We knew it would happen, but we just didn't think it would be so soon. Finn taught Max his latest trick - eating from the high chair. You will now find Max permanently stationed under Finn's chair during each and every meal.

It's in the bag

Some times little things come in big packages. Finn somehow found himself in a large gift bag this Christmas. He thought it was great. He could play peek-a-boo and the bag made fun sounds when he hit the sides. We found out that we are very easily entertained.

Slip Sliding Away

Winter just wouldn't be the same without going sledding. That's why we bundled-up Finn (probably a little too much since he couldn't move) and headed down the hill. He seemed to have a good time. At least it must have tired him out because he fell asleep during his (very slow) snowmobile ride back to the cabin.

Merry Christmas

It was a very Merry Christmas for us this year. Finn had a great time looking at all of the lights, wrapping and presents. He was very spoiled by everyone and got pretty excited about tearing into the wrapping paper.
