A Thousand Words

We recently had Harper's first photos taken. In my mind's eye I pictured cute, cuddly photos of our baby girl. Well as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. After two plus hours of crying, the torture session was finally over and we managed to get one -that's right one- photo where she isn't either crying or looks like she's been crying. The good news...even though we felt like it no one else cried.

Harper One Month

It's unbelievable that it has been a month since Harper was born. I guess time flies when you are feeding, changing, chasing, rocking, burping and playing with two kids under two all day. She has smiled just a couple of times and is becoming more and more alert all of the time. She can hold her head up for a few seconds at a time and her lungs are definitely working.
