Round and Round

On Mother's Day we went to brunch at the Zermatt Resort. The food was good, but the highlight was the merry-go-round ride with Finn.

Brad has a theory that if he familiarizes Finn with the lawnmower early enough then by the time he can walk he will be able to handle the entire yard himself.

Just after Finn's first birthday we had new family photos taken. The experience reminded me of our first family photos except Finn didn't cry the entire time and neither one of us got pooped on.

Brrr , Brrr, Brrr

Finn started saying bird (it sounds more like brr). Today Finn took a trip to Tracy Aviary with his friends Olivia and Gibbeny. He had a great time looking at all of the different birds. He said brr, brr, brr and pointed the entire time. One of the highlights was when we got to go in an exhibit where the birds are free to roam around. He laughed and laughed when the birds would walk over by him. He also seemed pretty excited to watch the the Pelicans get fed even if their mouths looked almost big enough to eat him.

First Steps

About a month ago Finn started taking a few wobbly steps. It the time it has taken me to post this video he's gotten much better. He is not completely steady just yet, but he's taking more and more steps on his own. It won't be long before we won't be able to keep up with him.
