Mommy's Little Sparkler

Finn celebrated Independence Day by watching a parade in Park City and the fireworks at Sugar House Park. He was mesmerized by the fireworks. I think he was hopeful that his parents had invested in a fancy new mobile.

Three Months and Charm

We're a little late in posting Finn's three month update as he is nearly four months old now. At three months Finn was holding up his hear really well. He's still smiling and he's noticed his hands and is starting to grab and bat at toys we put in front of him. He's almost 14 pounds and 24 inches. He's growing like crazy and is still as cute as ever!

First Road Trip

Finn took his first road trip to Driggs. He did pretty well during the 5 hour trip and had a great time hanging out with his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncle and Cousins.

This Father's Day weekend Finn was lucky to meet his Grandpa Terry and go for a hike. (For those confused by the matching hats, Finn is he one in the Baby Bjorn.)

Only the Lonely

Finn started daycare yesterday. I can't believe how lonely I feel without the little guy. For almost eleven weeks I've been dreaming time to myself where I'm not in charge of feeding, changing or watching him where I would feel like my old self again. Now that it's here I'm surprised how much I miss him. It's incredible the attachment that is built in such a short time. I'm resisting the urge to call daycare every five minutes and see if he's o.k. or if he needs his mom. I know that he's in good hands and that he will be fine without me for a few hours, but a little part of me really hopes that he misses me like I miss him.
